Talent MCP

Gemspring Capital's connector to Verata executive intelligence, for Claude.

Connect in Claude Desktop

Open Claude Desktop and go to Settings.
On the left, under Customize, click Connectors.
Find Talent MCP and add it (click Connect).
Log in with your Microsoft 365 credentials (you@gemspring.com, not an _ADM account).
Click Talent MCP in the connector list and set every tool to Always allow (all 4 tools). Otherwise Claude stops to ask permission on each call and multi-step searches stall.

Same account, same connector: it also works in claude.ai and Claude Code once connected. Start with the first example query below to check the connection.

Simple lookups take seconds; a full advisor slate with warm-intro paths takes about 2 to 4 minutes.

Tools (4)

`start_sourced_advisor_slate`	Start an advisor slate from both sources (default), LinkedIn only, or Verata only.
`open_recruiter_browser`	Open the Azure Recruiter browser.
`read_recruiter_search`	Read JSON search results from the current Recruiter search tab (up to max_pages).
`merge_advisor_candidates`	Union Verata and Recruiter hits by exact LinkedIn profile URL.

All tools are read-only. Verata logs searches on their side.

Who can use it

Members of the Entra group VERATA_MCP. Anyone outside the group is refused at sign-in. To get access, ask the connector owner to add you to the group.

Troubleshooting

Sign-in refused or “not assigned”: you are not in VERATA_MCP yet.
Claude keeps asking permission: set all tools to Always allow (step 5 above).
Tools missing or “session expired”: disconnect and reconnect Talent MCP under Connectors.
“Rate limited”: 60 tool calls per minute per person; wait a minute and retry.
Anything else: send the connector owner the exact error text and the time it happened.

For Claude organization owners

If Talent MCP is not listed under Connectors, an owner adds it once in Admin settings → Connectors → Add custom connector:
